We loved this quaint out of the way restaurant.

I was surprised & thrilled to find out they had gluten free fish & chips. I also tried mushy peas for the first time. They were seasoned perfectly compared to the future ones.
The fish was light & crispy and so tasty.
Thank you so much for making our dining experience wonderful.

On the plus side, plenty of free parking and easy access to the establishment. We were welcomed and shown to our pre-booked table.
All the staff were nice and polite.
We ordered the half and half pasta pizza combo and just to complete the holy trinity of carbs, a side of chips.
There must have been a problem in the kitchen as the food took a very long time (45 mins) to come out. But when it did come, it was hot and tasty. We enjoyed our meal.
The atmosphere was spooky, well it is nearly Halloween! The modern interior attracted young children, locals as well as folk passing by. We enjoyed petting a dog, so cute.
So if you’re looking for somewhere that ‘does what it says on the tin’ you will enjoy a meal and drink here.

The chicken fajitas tasted good,I just felt that for £15+ they could off added more chicken and less onions and they could off given me a whole fajita wrap instead off 3 quarters off one.

Stayed in car park 1 night as long as you buy a meal,the food was excellent nice atmosphere and no noise highly recommend 👌 👍 😀

Sunday dinner service was a little slow but when it came the temperature was decent and tasted ok . I had the "spice spice baby " burger but it was a little underwhelming in taste expectation and size for the cost however there were no real issues. It did come with a good size pot of fries and a really small pot of coleslaw which needs to be more if I'm honest it was smaller than an egg cup which isn't much at all and that was all the meal came with. My partner had the creamy carbonara which she said was OK but wouldn't order it again as it was a little heavy on the cream side. It came as a meal with a small side of garlic ciabattta but needed a little more toasted to be spot on. Our overall opinion is we wouldn't rush back and although it wasn't really that busy and yet we were never offered top ups or dessert orders. It just seemed to be lacking that service you would expect in general, more dissapointed as it the first we've eaten in this establishment. The kids wooden play park out thr back was a good addition as our kids were present on our visit and that was a hit .

Went with a group of friends and our kids. Wasn't made to feel welcome because we hadn’t booked although they only had one family in. Staff just staring at us. And the topping on the cake the tea had some kind of Mildrew and the milk was curdled. Safe to say we left, would definitely not recommend.

Since the new managment took over its a great place to go for a nice pub lunch and a cold beer with friends and family, it has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere definately would recommend.

First time visiting here the place itself looks a little run down but it had a good atmosphere, drinks are reasonably priced, the staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was quite honestly the best pub meal we have had in a long long time all home cooked and absolutely delicious for a good price, definitely worth a visit if in the area

One of my favourite places to eat (and drink 😁) the food is amazing. lovely atmosphere, great staff and so welcoming for the kids. Put on brilliant family fun days in the beer garden through the summer months and live singers some weekends which is fab . Defo worth a visit if you haven't been. All my family love it here.

Fab Ladies Who Lunch today. Lovely lass who attended to our every need. Thoroughly recommended (especially the haggis and fish....and panzanella...and lemon ponsett....and, well everything really. Lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon 🤩🍾🥂🍸🍷

Staff where really lovely and helpful and portion sizes where perfect! Service times where great and food was roasting hot. The addition of being able to book tables online has made it an easy choice. Would happily come back or recommend
